Ruta Cultural Bedmar (patrimonio cultural)

An experience designed to discover the historical and heritage richness of Bedmar through a guided tour of some of its most representative sites. It is an ideal proposal for those who wish to get closer to the history, culture and identity of the town in an enjoyable and enriching way.

The experience takes the form of a walk through Bedmar’s cultural heritage, allowing visitors to discover some of the municipality’s most emblematic spaces first-hand. Along the route, participants will learn about the historical and architectural value of places that form part of the memory and identity of this corner of Sierra Mágina.

The route includes a visit to the New Castle of Bedmar, an outstanding site from which to approach the town’s defensive and historical past. It also includes a visit to the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, a place of great heritage interest that reflects the religious and artistic tradition of the municipality.

The tour is completed with entry and a visit to the Sierra Mágina Prehistoric Research Centre “PaleoMágina”, a space that allows visitors to delve into the oldest traces of the territory and gain a better understanding of the archaeological and historical richness of the area. All of this is accompanied by a tourist guide and includes civil liability and accident insurance, so visitors can enjoy the experience with complete peace of mind.
