Paquete turístico: Tierra de Aceite

The experience is structured as an immersion in the culture of the olive grove and extra virgin olive oil, allowing visitors to discover one of the great elements of Sierra Mágina’s identity through landscape, tradition and flavour.

We begin with a tour of Cambil and Arbuniel, two municipalities closely linked to olive growing and olive oil production. This first part of the experience helps visitors understand the relationship between the territory and the olive grove, as well as the importance of this activity in the history, economy and daily life of the region.

Next, the proposal includes visits to olive mills in the area, where visitors can learn first-hand about the oil production process and understand how the fruit of the olive tree is transformed into a high-quality product. During the tour, aspects related to olive cultivation, olive harvesting and the different stages of production are explained, offering a clear and accessible overview of the entire process.

To finish, the experience is completed with an olive oil tasting, an ideal moment to discover the aromas, nuances and characteristics of extra virgin olive oil, learning to appreciate it from a sensory perspective. In this way, the package becomes a perfect proposal to approach oleotourism in an enjoyable, authentic way that is closely connected to the territory.
