Descubre el patrimonio y la gastronomía de Cabra del Santo Cristo
The experience is structured as a cultural route that allows visitors to delve into the history and identity of Cabra del Santo Cristo, combining heritage, walking and tradition in a setting where time seems to stand still.
We begin with a guided visit through the town centre, where visitors discover some of the municipality’s most representative spaces. Along the route, places such as the Parish Church of Nuestra Señora de la Expectación, the Arturo Cerdá y Rico House Museum and the Casa de la Misericordia are visited. The latter is now the Tourist Office and home to the Santo Cristo de Burgos Interpretation Centre. Each stop helps visitors understand the evolution of the village and its role within the Sierra Mágina territory.
Next, the experience is completed with other sites linked to the surroundings, such as the Paraje del Nacimiento, where landscape and local history come together. This section broadens the perspective and connects the built heritage with the natural environment around it.
To finish, the day can optionally conclude with a gastronomic tasting. Through a menu at a local restaurant, visitors discover the traditional flavours of Cabra del Santo Cristo, where local products and traditional cuisine reflect the identity of the municipality.
