De la cultura a la aventura - Oleoaventuras

The experience is structured around several carefully designed moments to experience olive oil from the inside, in motion and in direct contact with the territory, combining culture, activity and nature.

We begin with an introduction to the world and culture of olive oil on the esplanade of Cortijo Las Huertas, where visitors are introduced to the context of the olive grove and learn about the history of the family and their connection with the land. This first moment prepares the way for an active and participatory experience.

Next, we move into action. Equipped with the necessary tools, we enter the olive grove to harvest olives directly from the tree. During this tour, visitors learn about the different types of plantations, olive tree varieties, harvesting techniques — both traditional and modern — and fruit cleaning processes, becoming truly involved in fieldwork.

After this immersion, the experience continues in the 1941 hydraulic mill, where traditional production systems are interpreted. The tour then moves on to the modern olive mill, where current processes, the technology used, the different types of oil and their by-products are explained. Finally, visitors see the cellar and the bottling plant, completing the journey of olive oil from tree to bottle.

To close the experience, the tasting moment arrives, where visitors can savour the result of the entire process and understand, through practice, the value of extra virgin olive oil.

Thanks to its dynamic and participatory nature, this proposal is ideal for both the general public and groups or MICE activities, offering a shared experience that combines learning, activity and connection with the surroundings.
