It is celebrated on the last Sunday in October. Traditionally it was done on the 25th of that month, moving on September 25 from its hermitage in the place of Cuadros to Bedmar, where it is venerated by all the neighbors. The Virgen de Cuadros is devotedly regarded as the Lady and Mother of Sierra Mágina, this pilgrimage has been celebrated since the 16th century. During the four kilometers that the journey to her sanctuary lasts, she is processioned on litters in which the image is placed inside a glass urn. It is carried by women and, upon reaching the river occupied by orchards, it is the gardeners who carry it on their shoulders throughout the entire stretch of their land. Along the way, people sing and dance and eat bread with oil and chocolate.
