Located in the north-eastern part of the province of Jaén and Andalusia, it borders Granada, Albacete and Ciudad Real. The town of Génave is a pioneer in Spain in the production of organic olive oil, known as "Oro de Génave." In addition, its extra virgin olive oil is named Sierra de Segura.
