The prebetic relief: 27 geological and landscape jewels of the park
The mountain landscapes of the Natural Park have the best representation of the reliefs that make up the Prebetic Dominion of the Externs of the Betic Range. You can see impressive forms of tectonic origin such as the Tiscar Falla and spectacular karmic landscapes, with dolins and simas such as the Black Pinar, or upsets that give rise to rivers as important as the Guadalquivir and the Segura. You can also enjoy the geological uniqueness of routes as popular as the Cerradas de Utrero and Elias, or of mountains as emblematic as El Yelmo, Navalperal or Los Poyos de la Mesa.
You have 27 places to choose, easily accessible and spectacular, not only for its geological particularities, but also for its landscape. They are all part of the Inventory of Georresources of Andalusia, carried out by the Council of the Environment of the Junta de Andalucía.
