Tierra Adentro 2025 consolidates Jaén as an epicenter of inland tourism
The XXIII Inner Tourism Fair of Andalusia, Tierra Inentro 2025, organized by the Provincial Diputación de Jaén, through IFEX, has replaced the province at the centre of interior, rural and nature tourism.
This edition was held from 24 to 26 October at its regular headquarters of the Provincial Fairs and Congresses. With over 80 exhibitors and 5,100 visitors, it has shown the dynamism of the sector and the increasing attractiveness of the province within the Andalusian interior tourism.
Jaén shows its tourist potential
As part of the programme of parallel activities, on Friday 24 the presentation of the calendar of solidarity "Jaén, a paradise for all," developed by theAssociation of Jaén and Province Down Syndrome.
The fair served as a window to make known this solidarity initiative that combines the monumental heritage of Jiennense with the visibility and normalization of people with trisomy 21.
The calendar, in which 34 people from the association have participated, proposes a visual tour of 13 municipalities with scenarios such as the Cathedral of Jaén, the Castle of Baños de la Encina, the Arab Baths of the Palacio de Villardompardo or the Fortaleza de la Mota in Alcalá la Real.
The photographer alcaudete María Espinosa has been responsible for making the images of this calendar that is already available at the headquarters of the association and can be found at different points of sale in the province and in tourist events promoted by the Diputación. On Saturday 25, the stand also hosted a tasting of the Jaén Selección Oils, an activity that brought together many visitors interested in knowing the quality and diversity of the Jiennese AOVES.
The Diputación also participated in the 15th International Meeting on the Marketing of Tourism of the Interior, Rural and Nature of Andalusia, a recruitment bag that brought together about 40 national and international travel agencies, strengthening the professional projection of the province.
The exhibition space of the Diputación, 128 square meters, has been one of the main attractions of the fair. A wide range of provincial tourism has been presented, with a leading role for:
• The World Heritage Cities (UNESCO), Ubeda and Baeza, which continue to be one of the great cultural demands of destiny.
• The four natural parks. Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas; Sierra Magina; Sierra de Andújar; and Despeñacolos, which position Jaén as the province with the largest protected area in Spain.
• The oleoturismas a star product and identity sign of the territory, with experiences that connect the oil culture with the local landscape and traditions.
• The Giennense gastronomy, with tastings and products of the label Degusta Jaén, which have put taste and authenticity to the stand.
These products have been the protagonists of the decoration of the stand, in which it has been wanted to show the potential of Jaén for indoor tourism, from a sustainable perspective.
The space has also been attended by staff of the Diputación, who have distributed information material and attended consultations on the different destinations and tourist experiences of the territory.

The impetus of the Tourism Sustainability Plans
In the framework of the fair, the work carried out by the Diputación de Jaén through its area of promotion and tourism with the various plans financed by the Government of Spain with European funds Next Generation has been put to value.
The province currently manages 11 Destiny Tourism Sustainability Plans and the Impulsa Heritage program, with a total investment of 70 million euros, of which the Diputación administers 22.5 million.
These investments are a real transformation of the provincial tourism model, focusing it on sustainability, digitization and competitiveness. Among the most important projects is the Intelligent Destination Platform (PID), which will allow you to digitize and connect the tourist offer throughout the province, improving the management and experience of visitors.
