The Autumn Equinox at Puente Tablas

Puente Tablas is far more than an astronomical event; it is a return to the sacred, to the Iberian roots that still breathe among its stones. Every year, at dawn on the autumn equinox, this site is transformed into a ritual space where history becomes present. 

The La Paca theatre company recreates an ancient Iberian ceremony inspired by Iberian rituals, with live ancient music and no artificial staging, for a very small audience. Attendees walk through the sanctuary at dawn, following the path of the light through the legendary Puerta del Sol (Sun Gate). 

Visit the Toya Burial Chamber during the Noche de los Candiles 

Every year on the night of 2 November, Peal de Becerro comes alive with the Noche de los Candiles, a magical event that lights up its historic centre by candlelight. Activities include visits to the Iberian burial chamber of Toya, allowing you to immerse yourself in a truly special atmosphere.
