Technical Description

The "Amigo Félix" route is a tourist route that follows the steps of Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente and his team in its emblematic filming of the fauna of the Sierra de Cazorla. It begins in Cazorla or the Visitor Center of the Torre del Vinagre, by the hand of the guide visitors will be able to enjoy impressive natural landscapes, such as the Cascada de Linarejos and the Cerrada de Utrero, and explore historical remains related to forest activity. The tour includes stops in glances such as the "Lanchales de Linarejos," where you can see rapacious birds such as lethonated vultures and eels, as well as mountain goats. The itinerary continues to pass through various ecosystems, from resinero pineers to high mountain altiplanicides, and offers spectacular views of the San Pedro Navy and the Wolf Tranco. During the journey, travelers will be able to learn about the work of Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente and the conservation of species such as broken bones. The route will end by accessing a restricted area of the natural park. Two meeting points are available: 1. Avda of Natural Park 2, low. 23470 Cazorla, Jaén. 2. The Vinagre Tower Visitors Center.
