Siles
In the municipality of Siles, in the heart of the Natural Park of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas, the Cortijo La Ajedrea offers the possibility to enter and participate in the collection of olives with traditional techniques while learning about the cultivation of the olive tree: the date of collection, characteristics of the olive, method used or quantities extracted. After the day the participants will be able to enjoy a guided tasting of olive oils, where aromas and flavors are discovered, accompanied by local products such as artisanal bread, tomato and wine. Finally, those interested in going beyond will have the possibility to sponsor an olive tree on the farm. You can choose the olive tree you want to sponsor, which will be identified with a sign with your name on it. They will also receive a diploma certifying their sponsorship and, annually, a bottle of olive oil produced from that olive tree. The sponsor shall be renewable each year. During the year, the godparents will be sent an email informing them about the care and work done in their olive tree.
