Description
In a workshop whose history is closely related to the ubetense pottery and declared by the Junta de Andalucía as Punto de Interés Artesanal, Alfonso develops his work as a craftsman creating pieces of high artistic quality. In its effort to cherish this family legacy, in its work space it still retains an Arab oven as well as original objects and with years of history, in addition to the utensils used for its elaboration, which can be enjoyed through a programme of guided routes the city.
Its creations, with a clear traditional influence, are made in a artisanal but adapted way, in terms of color, decoration and design, to modern currents, incorporating new techniques such as high temperature, crystallization or raku, as well as new materials such as gress or porcelain. A complex fusion between the past and the present that results in artistic work of great value.
