Jaén Paraíso Interior Event

Description

As civic-religious festivities, the Fiestas del Emigrante are held around 15 August in honour of the people of Baños living away from the town, featuring cultural and sporting events and popular open-air dances, as well as the Procession of the Virgen de la Encina, carried by emigrants unable to attend the pilgrimage. Without doubt, the most special event is the Migas Gathering, where local clubs of friends, both from the town and from further afield, come together to compete for the best migas. More than 100 such clubs gather around the Santo Cristo esplanade.
