Technical Description
It rises on the Cerro del Cueto, where human presence before the building of the castle (Copper Age) is manifested, as it is attested in the archaeological site located inside the walled enclosure. The Castle was built in the Almohade period linked to the defenses raised in the Alto Guadalquivir prior to the Battle of the Navas de Tolosa (year 1212).
