Description

Alcalá la Real is a strategic enclave as a border between the Kingdom of Granada and Castile. The concept of the border and its ways of life allow a tour of the Fortress of the Mota of Arab origin (12th century).

The visitor will be able to know the system of walls, towers and doors, the aljibes, its streets, wineries and mills, along with the imposing Abacial Major Church, the former City Hall and the military plateau that serve as a guide for this journey in time and are shown as unique and unique spaces to develop and show the life and customs of the medieval era.
