Description
The province of Jaén occupies the high basin of the Guadalquivir River, where the reservoirs and a dense river network are abundant, leading to the existence of excellent fishing scenarios, ideal for the practice of the different modes in species such as salmonides (common trout and rainbow), ciprinides (carp, barbo and boga) and centrifuges (black bass).
Jaén has 40 federated fishing clubs, which carry out numerous fishing competitions in their various forms (salmonides lance, salmonides fly, fresh water alevin, children,
youth, ladies and sir, black bass shore, black bass boat and carp-fishing).
