Description
An experience that combines historical heritage and oil culture: a cultural route guided by the municipality of Bedmar, with a visit to the PaleoMagina centre, followed by an oleoturism route in the local almazara.The experience begins with a cultural route through the municipality of Bedmar, a guided walk that allows to know the historical and heritage value of the town, discovering the elements that are part of its identity in the heart of Sierra Magina. This proposal includes a visit to the Centro de Investigaciones Prehistoriales de Sierra Mágina 'PaleoMagina', a space that allows you to enter the most remote past of the territory and to know the archaeological and historical importance of the environment. The day continues with a guided route of oleoturism in the almazara of the town, where the visitor closely discovers the process of making extra virgin olive oil and its importance in the tradition and economy of the municipality. The experience can be completed with an AOVE tasting if it is planned in the mill.
