Spring arrives in the Sierra de Segura with a new edition of the “Walking the Trails of Jaén” programme, an initiative promoting hiking, active tourism and direct contact with nature in the province's protected areas.

The route planned for 26 April crosses the area around Era del Fustal and Peña del Olivar, a landscape of great ecological and scenic value, featuring distinctive rock formations, native vegetation and spectacular views of the Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park.

The activity is aimed at all audiences and seeks to promote respect for the environment, knowledge of the local area, and enjoyment of Jaén's natural heritage. Suitable clothing and footwear, water and sun protection are recommended.
