Torreperogil
Description
Built between 1593 and 1634. Inside it is a rectangular-floor ship, which has been restored in 1960, covered with a half-barrel vault with lunetes and articulated with five hornant chapels on each side. The presbyterium is covered with half orange on pechines and communicates with the shrimp by means of a half-point arc on double mends. The Camarín, with baroque bills, with 18th-century gypsies, stands out.The main façade was built between 1960 and 1965, while the southern cover, of Renaissance style, was from the 16th century. The image of the Virgin of Mercy, patron of Torreperogil, is an anonymous author and was sculpted in 1939, although it was restored in 1960.
