Description
The Plaza de la Constitución collects the three factual powers in a palm of land. The military power is represented by the castle-fortress of the Order of Calatrava of the 13th century. The two towers of the tribute, the Tower of Santa María and the Tower of San Miguel, are erected in its courtyard of arms. The Saint Mary's house is an oratory ordered to be built by the Comandador Juan Pacheco and today it is intended to house the Museum of the Spanish Civil War of the Battle of Lopera that was delivered on the Christmas of 1936. It houses 3543 square meters of surface between its walls and 263 metres of perimeter.
