Battle of Las Navas de Tolosa Museum: Workshops and visits

Description

On July 16, 1212, the Battle of the Saves of Tolosa changed the course of the History of Spain, following the confrontation between the Christian Kings and the Muslim Caliph of Al@-@ Ándalus. Located Saint Helena, next to Natural Park of Despeñacolosat the entrance of the province of Jaén from the north, evokes that transcendental struggle.

The exhibition centre is located next to the battlefield, 500 metres from the motorway of Andalusia and it presents, in an original and didactic way, events with great historical rigor. Modern audiovisual, scenography, reproductions of weapons and clothing give the Centre content.

At 10: 00, arrival at the Museum and explanation of the activity by the staff of the center.

From 10: 00 am to 11: 00 pm, entrance and guided tour to the Exhibition Centre, including the teaching book.

From 11: 00 am to 14: 00 pm, you will walk through the path "El Empedraillo," which passes through an ancient Roman road and through the field of the battle of the Navas de Tolosa. Price: 65 €/ maximum 55 school children.

From 14: 00 am to 14: 30 pm, picnic (in charge of each school) on the outer road of the Museum.
