Cazorla
José Pablo García, María José Morón and the little JJ (one and a half years old) are responsible for the blog 'To take by world', from which they report in the first person on various tourist destinations in all parts of the world. This intrepid family of bloggers have been the ambassadors of Caraway in his candidacy to become Rural Tourism Capital through the platform of Rural escape, a recognition that the municipality has obtained this year by having more than 20% of the votes cast. In this interview José Pablo García tells us the many reasons why Cazorla is a destination you cannot miss.
Cazorla is the best summary of the rural concept in Spain. It is a beautiful town where you can live nature, eat well, a town where there are many things to do and where you can disconnect. It also has services to respond to the most demanding travelers. All this wealth of values is what has finally made Cazorla the Capital of Rural Tourism 2022.
It is the second year in a row that we have been ambassadors of the people who have managed to become the Capital of Rural Tourism 2022, last year we have been from Olvera, so we have a previous experience and we know that for the people is a great opportunity, it is an advertising at a very large level. It is the opportunity not only to place Cazorla on the map, because everyone already knows where it is, but to give it added value. This capitality of rural tourism, beyond attracting more travelers and visitors, will help Cazorla to improve and enhance its tourism services, and to achieve excellence in the field of tourism.
Cazorla offers many comforts, it is a village where you don't need the car to go from one place to another, where we have been able to enjoy being in contact with nature next to our child, smell the flowers and see animals, which is always an incentive for children. Cazorla has allowed us to make the journey in a more quiet way, the 'slow travel' as it is now said that it is nothing but to adapt to the life of the people. When we were on a trip last time in Cazorla we also coincided with the days before a holiday and we could see many children playing in the squares, breaking piñatas as before and playing with sacks, these are increasingly difficult times to see.

For we have already been on several occasions and in our opinion, spring and autumn are two good times to visit Cazorla. It is not too hot or too cold, there are not so many people and the field is beautiful, either in green and floral tones, or ocre and autumn. But still, Cazorla is a great destination all year.
I would say that the Beer River vaultIt's a unique and spectacular place, a place you don't expect. That and the incredible views you find in every corner of Cazorla.

Whenever we go to Cazorla we eat fabulous, there is a lot of variety and there are dishes for all tastes. You can find traditional cuisine, fusion kitchen, more avant-garde dishes... We recommend that travelers get carried away, that they try the traditional ducks, that are many, and that they enjoy the local products as there, that are at their zero kilometer, know much better than anywhere else. The chacinas, the sausages, the hunting meat, the desserts and, of course, no one goes without wetting bread in extra virgin olive oil.
Well, the truth is, there's really little to get in, the last time I was on family trips as much as on my own, and one of the ones I did was just carrying the phone. On all roads there is water, there are sources, nature gives you everything you need in Cazorla, and it gives you free.
That you plan well the time you have and what you want to do, the times that take the routes, the places to visit... Let it be organized well to take full advantage but also to let it go, to visit calmly, to leave the car and to walk. You don't have to leave Cazorla just for a while or for a day, there's a lot to see and it's best to see it calmly.
Its enclave, its nature and heritage, the mix of everything.
