Jaén's artisanal crafts are structured to guide visitors through various artisan itineraries, conceived as scalable tourism experiences, meaning that visitors decide how many workshops or crafts they wish to explore. Each itinerary develops its own narrative around the craft and the artisan who practices it. These narratives are framed within the overarching thematic concept of crafts as living heritage, sustained by more than one hundred artisans spread throughout the province—including six Master Craftspeople, five Points of Artisanal Interest, and one Area of Artisanal Interest, Úbeda—who keep alive traditions such as ceramics, blacksmithing, esparto grass weaving, wood carving, and stained glass.
