The roof of the province as an incentive

In the heart of Jaén rises the Sierra Magina, a territory of roundabout summits, half-mountain forests and infinite horizons that invites the traveller to move.

In this area, each path hides a look and an opportunity to enjoy the active tourism in pure state: hiking routes that ascend between oaks and pinss, mountain sections where the trail running tests your rhythm and long forest tracks that become the perfect stage for cycling and MTB.

One of the main fans is the Pico Magina, the roof of the province. Its ascension brings with it the spectacular landscape panorama from Cazorla to Sierra Nevada. If you look south, you can see the Sierra Arana and Sierra Nevada granadins; if you look north, the peaks of Mount Cárceles and points of the region of La Loma like Ubeda, Baeza or Sabiote; east, the summit of La Morra de Magina; and west the Peña de Jaén and the Almadén.
