Jaén is a province of festivals
In July, Jaén is filled with music, culture and emotion. This summer it is not necessary to go far: the entire province becomes a great stage, with festivals that unite heritage, nature and art into unique enclaves.

As many of you will know, Jaén in July is the emblematic action of tourism promotion organized by the Diputación de Jaén since 2004. During this month four towns of Jaén fill their streets with music and people who want to enjoy.
The month began strong with a new edition of BluesCazorla. With four scenarios distributed by the town and international top-level artists, this festival has shown that this genre can thrill large audiences with strength, soul and authenticity.
A new edition of A Sea of Songs, a festival that, with more than two decades of history, has just been held in Torreperogil. The event combines author music with solidarity initiatives, crafts, stories, exhibitions and literary competitions.
At the end of the month one of the most refreshing proposals comes:Summer vertigoin Martos. This independent music festival brings together great names from the national scene along with new talents that step on.
And if your thing is groove, rhythm and energy,Imagine FunkIt's your destiny. On August 1 and 2, Pozo Alcón, in the heart of Sierra del Pozo, welcomes the great meeting of the funk of southern Europe.
Ethnosur
The next big date comes this week. Alcalá la Real becomes a crucible of cultures withEthnosur, the Southern Sierra Ethnic Meeting Festival. This event, which has been held for decades, offers a varied programming that includes concerts, workshops, circus, cinema, exhibitions and discussion forums.
In this edition, dedicated to international conflicts, artists such as Jupiter & Okwess (Democratic Republic of the Congo), Ganna (Ukraine), the Japanese flamenco of Noriko Martín and national names such as Kiko Veneno, who will receive the Etnosur 2025 Prize.

FestMUVE
The province continues to vibrate with proposals such asFestMUVE, the summer music festival of Ubeda, World Heritage City (UNESCO). Until September 29, great artists from the national and international landscape act in different spaces of the Renaissance city.
In their next appointments we can enjoy the Pecos and reference tribute bands like God Save the Queen and Brothers in Band (tribute to Dire Straits). As a final brooch, on September 13, he will be on the stage of Joaquín Sabina, with his farewell tour "Hello and Farewell." A historic quote in his home land.
