In a very marked and personal style, in 2012, the Junta de Andalucía gave him the letter of Master Artesano, and is that his constancy to keep almost intact a trade of old, as well as his commitment to the production of artworks of great value, have made his artistic manifestations a great national and international recognition. He works with his brother Paco, also artisan and with a dilat and successful experience, with whom he creates excellent synergies from which his most valued articles emerge.
They are the sixth generation dedicated to the craft of the artistic forge and they treasure a workshop that has been declared by the Junta de Andalucía as Punto de Interés Artesanal, a space that hosts various activities related to the forge, a magnificent tourist option for the visitors of the town and an excellent teaching alternative for the students of the area.
Pepe and Paco still retain the most traditional techniques in the preparation of their articles, although without losing the current trend. Its designs, all of their own and exclusive, stand out for their personality, originality and quality, as well as for being unique parts in the market. They have collaborated with numerous exhibitions and exhibitions of crafts, reaching to perform outstanding works at national and international level such as the National Paradores of Cambados, Carmona, Granada, Jaén, Plasencia or Cádiz or other collaborations in Brussels, Ireland, Japan, Nice or New Mexico. These artisan brothers, with a strong Renaissance tendency, also actively collaborate in the conservation of the cultural heritage of Andalusia with many works of restoration of great prestige.
