Description
On 15 August, the Virgen del Rosario is celebrated, with dawn songs accompanied by guitars, bandurrias and violins. In the early 1990s, the August Fairs were established, of a leisure and cultural nature, as a tribute to the emigrants from Bedmar who return to their town on holiday during this month; today, this is known as the traditional CULVE, with sporting, leisure and cultural activities held during June, July and August. During these festivities, it is customary to share a monumental pipirrana, enjoyed by all residents, with the festivities closing with a popular open-air dance held in the Parque del Pilarejo.
