Virgen del Castillo Patron Saint Festivities
Description
Held from 14 to 18 August. Patron saint of Vilches since 1784, and named honorary mayoress in 1971. Her title comes from having made Vilches her sanctuary.
The patron saint festivities are celebrated with open-air dances and bull runs. The religious events take place on 15 August on the Cerro de La Virgen.
The bull runs and amateur bullfights during the festivities are held on 16 and 17 August.
