Fiestas de San Sebastián
Description
San Sebastián, patron saint of Vilches, is celebrated on 20 January. Here in Vilches, it is not among the most popular festivals. A procession is held, setting out from the Hermitage of San Sebastián, located on the slopes of the Cerro de La Virgen, passing through several streets of the old town, up to the Barrio del Cerrillo and back again to its charming chapel. Afterwards, in the Plaza Mayor, migas are made, and chorizo, morcilla and pork belly are grilled.
