Arroyo Frío Gachamiga Competition
15 December 2026
Over the weekend, the streets transform into a living stage, blending music, theatre and memory. Historical figures come to life, tales from the past take on new presence, and the whole town becomes the protagonist of a shared story honouring those who defended their land and way of life.
The festival is more than a re-enactment: it is an act of cultural resistance, a reminder of the strength of one's roots, and an invitation to look towards the future without forgetting the journey travelled. Through parades, dramatised scenes and participatory activities, the celebration becomes a space where tradition and emotion meet to create an unforgettable day.
