Description

In much of its journey, the Natural Way of La Sierra runs along two rivers: the Guadalporcún and the Guadalete. Both in perfect conservation, have a common denominator with the rivers of the southern Iberian Peninsula: their name, which begins with guadal.

Technical Description

The Natural Route of the Sierra runs along rural roads and trails of the municipality. Its starting point is on the road of Valdepeñas A-6.060, on the road of access to La Urbanización La Carrasquilla (lane of Los Torcales), ending on the same road at the height of Rio Frio. After leaving the Port of Navatrillo, to the left, we will ascend to the Llano de Gamonaz, passing through the rock of Beltran, which is left to our left. When we reach the ravine called the Neveros, we will be diverted along the road that leads to the Port of Hoya from Otiñar. From the Port of the Hoya we begin the descent by a lane that connects with the exit of the Pancorbo retreat, in the vicinity of the Cold River.
