Description
Founded by the Franciscans in the 13th century, it is one of the oldest convents in the city. It is famous because in it Queen Elizabeth slept "the Catholic" in 1489, when she went to the firm in Baza for the "Toma de Granada." Of such an illustrious stay is still preserved the cell in which the queen slept and some of her personal objects given to the community as a sign of gratitude to the ubetense hospitality.
