Description
Located in Torrequebradilla and now abandoned, it was commissioned by Don Íñigo Fernández de Córdoba y Mendoza around the middle of the 17th century.This rural palace was organised into two sections: the upper one as a solana (open gallery) with small, asymmetrical openings, and a lower entrance section, accessed through large semicircular arches on simple pilasters that extend vertically up to the upper floor. Its austere construction and ornamental restraint show that it was conceived not so much as an emblem of the grandeur and power of the lord of Torralba and Torrequebradilla, but rather as a residential palace serving as a manor house for managing agricultural and grazing work on the surrounding fields and pastures.
