Description
An immersion in the culture of the Sierra Magina olive tree: tour of Cambil and Arbuniel, visit to almazaras, explanation of the process of making the AOVE and oil tasting.The experience is articulated as an immersion into the culture of the olive and extra virgin olive oil, allowing the visitor to discover one of the great elements of identity of Sierra Magina through the landscape, tradition and taste. We started with a tour of Cambil and Arbuniel, two municipalities closely linked to olive cultivation and oil production. This first part allows us to understand the relationship between the territory and the olive tree, as well as the importance of this activity in the history and daily life of the region. The proposal then includes a visit to the area's almazaras, where the visitor is closely aware of the process of oil production: olive cultivation, olive collection and different stages of production, offering a clear and close view of the entire cycle. The experience is complete with an oil tasting, ideal moment to discover aromas, nuances and AOVE characteristics from a sensory perspective.
