La Candelaria
Description
The current custom is to bring children born and baptised the previous year to church for their presentation. The people of Peal bring offerings of the traditional rings and bread "palomitas", which are blessed and accompany the Virgen de la Encarnación. During the procession, instead of being decorated with flowers and candles, the image and its platform are adorned with the Candelaria rings.
