Torredelcampo is a medium-sized town located within the metropolitan area of Jaén. Its location, along with its good transport links with the provincial capital, has turned it into a popular place to live for workers in Jaén.
Amongst its nature attractions include the forest ‘Bosque de la Bañizuela’ and the recreation area of Llano de Santa Ana. Its historic and artistic heritage also includes such highlights as the Iglesia de San Bartolomé (Church of Saint Bartholomew), which combines gothic art with renaissance mannerist connotations, the Muslim castle Castillo del Berrueco, a key feature of the landscape, and the fortress of La Muña, dating from the 14th and 15th centuries.
