Ibros
Ibros is a small town in the northwest of the district of La Loma y Las Villas. The municipal area is dominated by olive groves and stretches down towards the Guadalimar river.
The olives are of very good quality and this has led to the development of a significant local olive industry.
Other important local businesses include vegetable farming, woodcrafts, metalworking and waste separation at a local sorting plant.

Local life in Ibros is very much influenced by its proximity to the large cities of Linares, Baeza and Úbeda, with local unemployed people finding work in the construction, services or industrial sectors in these cities.
Amongst its architectural heritage, we find the Muralla Ciclópea, a stone wall built in the first century BC and declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1931, and the renaissance church Iglesia de San Pedro y San Pablo (Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul).
