Europarc - Spain is an organisation in which the institutions involved in the planning and management of protected natural areas in Spain participate. It constitutes the main professional forum where proposals for the improvement of these areas are discussed and drawn up. It is an active member of the Federation of Natural and National Parks of Europe (EUROPARC), a pan-European organisation created in 1973 which brings together institutions from 38 countries dedicated to the management of protected areas and the defence of nature.
