Every year on the first full moon of spring, Linares dresses in passion, death and resurrection.

Since time immemorial the city celebrates its Holy Week in a very special way, from Ash Wednesday you can feel the great brotherhood feeling in all its corners, offering a wide range of activities such as exhibitions, band competitions, brotherhood gatherings and proclamations .

To all this is added the popular feeling that reaches its maximum manifestation in the face of the tear that "la saeta" produces in our spirit, a simple cante that can express feelings in their purest state.

There are many brotherhoods that work throughout the year to make the city an unforgettable corner with the smell of incense and wax as its Nazarenes, costaleros and horquilleros pass by. Emotional moments are lived every year during this week, where you can feel the faith and devotion through the streets of the city that show religious carvings of prestigious image makers such as Palma Burgos or Víctor de los Ríos.

The Headbands are a peculiarity for which, in 1998, Holy Week in Linares was declared of National Tourist Interest.
