Every last Saturday of April, the horquilleros carry the image of the Virgin to the town. On Sunday, a mass is celebrated that stands out for the black mantillas worn by the Virgin's waitresses. In the afternoon, the procession, accompanied by women with white mantillas, runs through the main streets of Alcaudete that are adorned with flowers and arches. On the first Sunday in June, the carving of the Virgin returns to her hermitage.
