This date is accompanied by the celebration of the National Holiday, but in turn it is indicated for our municipality as it is other important festivals for Bailén such as those of the Barrio del Pilar. The weekend closest to this festivity, the Recreation of the Battle of Bailén takes place in Bailén, where local recreation groups ("Volunteers of the Battle of Bailén", "General Reding Cultural History" and "Bailén for Independence ”) Along with others from the rest of the national and even European territory, they reproduce the Battle of Bailén of 1808 in a faithful way and tight to history.

Along with this, the event is accompanied by various activities such as parades, skirmishes, handicraft market and tastings.
