Turned into the fourth generation of esparto grass artisans in his family, Pedro is very knowledgeable about the history of this job and the changes it has undergone over the years. He works with Sierra Magina's esparto grass making the famous 11th century Ubeda carpets, typical of the Ubeda area, whose manufacture was rescued by his grandfather after many years in oblivion. In addition, Pedro offer other forgotten products and he craft manufacture vegetable fiber by hand, being its production completely ecological; bags, jewelry, pamelas, hats, blinds, baskets and other decorative objects such as life size animals made of pita.

For his creations he uses raw esparto, crushed esparto, as well as other materials and techniques such as pita/sisal, jute, raffia or wool, which allows him to personalize to the maximum both the articles we find in his store and those pieces he makes under petition. A trade of yesteryear that he has managed to reconvert to position it in a very visible place in the national panorama, obtaining great prizes and recognitions like that of Richard H. Driehaus, Awards of the Arts of the Construction in the category Finishes and other Works of the Traditional Construction.
