He began his professional career in the studio of the Sevillian imager D. Antonio Dube de Luque, acquiring knowledge on religious imagery, wood carving, drawing and modelling. Graduated in Fine Arts by the University of Seville, Manuel specializes in sculpture, getting a scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Spanish Academy of History, Archaeology and Fine Arts in Rome. In the 90's he settled in the town of Andujar where he began his professional career as a sculptor of both civil and religious works. He has developed important works at national level in intervention of temples or churches, sculptures for brotherhoods or fraternities, as well as for individuals.

From his workshop, declared by the Junta de Andalucia as a Point of Artisan Interest, and with a very personal style, Manuel mixes different materials to result on a work of art. Wood, iron, stone, bronze, etc. An endless number of artistic possibilities that have led Manuel to experiment with new challenges like the artisan manufacture of jewels and other works of restoration and conservation of Andalusian artistic heritage.
