Confitería Barranco was founded in 1936 by Francisca Jurado, Francisca descendant of a family dedicated to ovens, began to make and sell her own products in what was a carpentry workshop, when it was destroyed at the beginning of the Spanish civil war. Since then 4 generations later, its doors are still open in the heart of the capital of Jaén, located on Calle San Clemente, known as "Calle Simago". Today times are changing and Confitería Barranco with them, without losing its unmistakable artisan products made with the best virgin olive oil of our land.
